Hoppr Launches Service in Chennai

Hoppr has launched its service in Chennai to allow users explore rewards and offers available with brands and merchants in a locality. Hoppr is a brand of Y2CF Digital Media, which is funded by Bharti SoftBank.

Md Imthiaz, CEO and founder of Gurgaon-based start up company, said that the company has tied up with over 200 merchants in the city and nearly 3,000 across the country.

The major brands include Café Coffee Day, Pizza Corner Moti Mahal Delux, Candy Club, Vogue, Kettle and Simar.

A user can start with Hoppr by sending a nearby place’s name as a SMS to 56660.

For example, when a user is at Café Coffee Day, by sending CCD to the number will check the user in; earns points and downloads a coupon. This, the user then redeems on the spot.

Users can also share their check-ins on Facebook, again using SMS.
