“We are so excited to be heading to India for the first time. It’s an incredible country with such a rich history, and we just can’t wait to perform there for the first time ever as Korn. We see so many fans on Facebook from India, and I’ve personally heard how crazy Indian fans are. All I can say is that come September, IT’S ON!”, frontman Jonathan Davis said speaking to ROLLING STONE India.
Korn, formed in 1993, has sold 19 million albums in the US and 35 million worldwide. The band released their contentious 10th studio album ‘The Path of Totality’ in December 2011 that saw the band collaborates with numerous dubstep producers including Skrillex, Noisia and Excision.
The current band line-up includes four members: Jonathan Davis, James "Munky" Shaffer, Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, and Ray Luzier. Original and founding member guitarist Brian Welch “Head” left the band in 2005 after becoming a Christian to focus on life as a father and to pursue his own solo career. Newest member drummer Ray Luzier joined the band in 2009.
