This academic year, Delhi University will be liberal towards OBC Students, following a Supreme Court order given in 2011. DU will now allow 10% relaxation for OBC Students on the minimum eligibility criteria. The relaxation will be on the eligibility norms and also any entrance exam scores applicable, the rule will apply to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

University of Delhi, which started in the year 1922, is one of the finest Universities in India. Presently Delhi University is made up of 16 faculties, 86 departments, 77 colleges and a few other recognized institutes with around 150,000 regular students and more than 250,000 students in the distance learning stream.
