Poland, Ukraine to Host Euro 2012 From June 8–July 1

Poland and Ukraine will jointly host the 16-nation Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) European Football Championship, known as Euro 2012 for the first time, from June 8–July 1, 2012.

Euro 2012 will take place in four Polish cities of Warsaw, Gdansk, Wroclaw and Poznan as well as four Ukrainian cities of Kiev, Lvov, Donetsk and Kharkov. Tournament's opening match will be held on June 8 in Warsaw and the teams playing the opener will be Poland and Greece.
