Christine Lagarde, the chief of International Monetary Fund (IMF), will visit India later this month and is likely to discuss various economic policies and reforms related to the fast-growing Asian economy.
Lagarde will also be visiting China next week, following which she would be in New Delhi from March 19-20, 2012 for her first India visit since taking over as IMF Chief in June last year.
She is likely to meet various senior leaders and policymakers, including Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, during her India-visit.
Thereafter, Lagarde would participate in a conference on 'China and India—Sustaining High Quality Growth' in New Delhi on March 19-20.
