ICCR to Open Bhopal Regional Center

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) is all set to open its 17th regional center in the Madhya Pradesh capital, Bhopal.

The organization, which promotes Indian art and culture around the world, will hold its first program in Bhopal in which Iraqi Oud player Rahim Alhaj will perform with sarod players Aman and Ayaan Ali Khan.

Later this month, the ICCR may also hold a formal inauguration function in the city in which its president Karan Singh is likely to participate.
