UAE to Host World's Strongest Man Championship From Feb. 12-14

The United Arab Emirates will host the World's Strongest Man championship in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012. The opening ceremony will take place at Abu Dhabi Armed Forces Officers Club on Sunday while the event's main activities and competitions will take place at Khalifa Park from Feb. 12-14.

A total of 22 contestants from 23 countries will participate in the three-day event being held in Abu Dhabi for the first time.

The contestants will be demonstrating their strength in activities such as pulling bulky objects (rocks, trucks, and airplanes), lifting heavy weights, and a tug of war.
