Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has awarded contracts to three cricket umpires in the country for the very first time on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2012.
Zameer Haider, Ahsan Raza and Shozab Raza are the three of the International Cricket Council (ICC) panel umpires from Pakistan who were offered the contracts.
Five names were suggested, including the familiar ones of Aleem Dar and Asad Rauf, but the PCB decided to reward only three with contracts and a monthly stipend of $550.
