Mumbai: Remembering Ghazal Legends With Riyaz Khan, Poonam Bhatia on Feb. 12

Guldasta Ghazlon Ka - A bouquet of Ghazals originally sung by Ghazal exponents like Talat Mehmood, Mohammad Rafi and Jagjit Singh will be presented live by Ghazal singers Riyaz Khan and Poonam Bhatia at Birla Matushree, Dhobi Talao in Mumbai on Feb. 12, 2012 from 7.30 onwards.

Popular and timeless ghazals like: Woh Kagaz Ki Kashti, Shaam E Gham Ki Kasam, Teri Aankhon Ke Siva, Mera Geet Amar Kar D o, Husna waale Tera Jawab Nahi and others will be presented by the Rafi Foundation, which is a music group dedicated to showcase the musical works of legends.

The ticket passes for the concert range from Rs 300 to Rs 500 per person.

Poonam Bhatia realized her dream of becoming a playback singer by giving voice to actors like Ravina Tandon, Shilpa Shetty, Twinkle Khanna, Juhi Chawala, Mayuri Cango, Suman Ranganathan, Aishwarya Rai etc. She sang for almost all the bollywood music directors right from Anand Raj Anand, Viju Shah, Nadeem Shravan, Anu Malik, to the Legendry AR Rahman.
