IIT-B Organizes Typography Event From March 1–3

Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay (IIT-B) has organized a meet on typography from March 1–3, 2012 at its Industrial Design Center, with support from India Design Association and Aksharaya.

The event will include an international conference to address issues faced by type designers, type users and type educators. The conference will feature presentations on the last two days preceded by day of workshops dedicated to Typography and Calligraphy.

Exhibitions on Typography Posters and Book Publications will also be hosted at Victor Menezes convention centre and IDC, IIT Powai.

While typography workshops will be conducted on March 1, conferences focusing on the theme 'Typography in Publication Design' will be held on March 2 and March 3.
