David Guetta’s First Grammy Performance on Feb. 12

Two-time-Grammy-winning artist/producer/DJ David Guetta is all set for his first-ever performance at the 54th Grammy Awards on Feb. 12, 2012 in Los Angeles.

Grammy show producer Ken Ehrlich has introduced a dance/electronica performance segment for the first time ever in this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony, and David Guetta will be performing in a tent space to 1,000 fans as part of this segment, along with other dance/electronica Grammy nominees Deadmau5, Foo Fighters, Chris Brown and Li’l Wayne.

David Guetta has been nominated for two Grammy Awards this year. He has bagged a nomination for Best Dance Recording for Sunshine along with Avicii, from the former’s fifth studio album, Nothing But The Beat, and another one for Best Dance/Electronica Album for Nothing But The Beat.

In the past, Guetta has won two Grammy Awards; his first in 2010 for When Love Takes Over (featuring Kelly Rowland) in the Best Remixed Recording (Non-Classical) category; and another in 2011 for Revolver by Madonna (David Guetta’s One Love Club Remix by David Guetta and Afrojack) in the same category.
