Bangalore: Amit Kumar to Pay Tribute to Ashok Kumar on Feb. 17

Indian playback singer Amit Kumar is paying a musical tribute ‘Chatush’ along with maverick RD Burman's team to celebrate the birth centenary of his uncle Ashok Kumar. The concert will be held at Chowdaih Memorial Hall in Bangalore on February 17, 2012.

The singer will be accompanied by Sodha Brothers — Kishore Sodha (trumpet), Raj Sodha (saxophone and english flute), Franco Vaz (drums). For the first time, the concert will also feature Rajendra Singh Sodha, the lone exponent of swaralin (combination of violin, sarangi and dilruba), Divya Raghavan, Biju Nair, Sinchan Dixit and Kumar's sister Sromona.
The celebration will also mark a tribute to Indian musical geniuses Kishore Kumar, SD Burman and RD Burman. The show has been conceived and produced by Maam Entertainment and managed by Ghosheel Entertainment.
