World-Class Sports City to Come up Near Hyderabad

The Yash Birla Group is to set up a world-class sports city near Hyderabad with an investment of Rs 2,000 crore.

The city, spread across 450 acres within 100 km radius of Hyderabad, will have the entire sports infrastructure including a university to train sportspersons from childhood.

The group signed three MoUs with the Andhra Pradesh government during the Partnership Summit 2012 in Hyderabad on Jan. 12, 2012 for total investment of Rs 13,000 crore in three different projects.
