UTV Bindass Launches R-Day Special Rap Song

Youth channel UTV Bindass has launched a special rap number on the occasion of India’s 63rd Republic Day on Jan. 26, 2012

The number, sung by rap artist Tanmay Bahulekar aka Microphone3, gives a brief insight into the historical aspects of the day, and quickly moves onto what the day has come to mean today.

In the past, the channel took a similar initiative for Independence Day last year, and also created a song on social activist Anna Hazare's movement, highlighting the views of today's youths.

The song will be on air and online on Jan. 26. The songs are part of UTV Bindass' property called "Rap Attack."
