Samsung Launches New Tablet ‘Galaxy Tab 620’ in India for Rs 30,250

South Korean consumer electronics giant Samsung launched its next-generation tablet Galaxy Tab 620, in the Indian market on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012. The new tablet comes with a 1.2GHz dual core processor and Android Honeycomb 3.2 operating system.

Besides content viewing and gaming, users can download movies and songs and surf the web with high data speeds of 21 Mbps (megabits per second).

The new tablet can download a 1 GB (gigabit) movie in 6.5 minutes and a 1.5 MB (megabit) photo in one minute. Similarly, a 10 MB music file can be transmitted in one second through a 40 MHz channel.

Priced at Rs 30,250 and weighing 345 gm, the tablet is one of the lightest in its category. At 9.96 mm, its sleek design makes it convenient to carry.

With integrated communication service, users can aggregate contacts, calendar and email with instant messaging and social networking service (SNS). Contacts can be synched with online portals and social networks and manage schedules and events from multiple accounts.
