TV Show Dallas Actor Larry Hagman Passes Away

American film and television actor Larry Hagman, who found fame playing cunning villain JR Ewing on the hit TV show ‘Dallas’, died on November 23 at a Dallas hospital from throat cancer. The 81-year-old actor is survived by his wife Maj Axelsson and two children.

Television soap opera ‘Dallas’ is one of the longest lasting full-hour primetime dramas in American TV history with 357 episodes and was telecast from 1978–1991.
