New York’s Funniest Stand-Up on Jan. 2

The search is on for “New York’s Funniest Stand-Up,” a competition open to any and all comedians who think they have what it takes to be New York’s Funniest. The event will take place at Caroline's Comedy Club, Broadway 49th/50th St., Midtown, New York, United States on Monday, January 2, 2012 from 7 pm.

Nine finalists will be chosen from an open call of hundreds to be judged by a panel of industry experts based on material, originality, and stage presence. The winner will receive a cash prize and a week of performances at Carolines on Broadway.
