NASSCOM’s Relief Work Begins in Cyclone Hit Puducherry

The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) launched relief work in cyclone affected parts of the Union Territory, Puducherry.

"As part of the programme's first phase, distribution of basic commodities for the cyclone-hit people was carried out through the NASSCOM Foundation in collaboration with the Pondicherry Multipurpose Social Service Society, a local NGO," K Purushothaman, Regional Director of NASSCOM, Chennai said.

The relief work would cover areas hit by recent cyclone 'Thane' in Cuddalore district in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
