"All municipal primary schools will remain closed on Saturday due to extreme cold weather conditions," said Mahendra Nagpal, chairman of the Municipal Education Committee.
The capital was enveloped by dense fog since Friday morning with the minimum temperature dropping three notches below average at 4.5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was around 14.6 degrees Celsius.
