Automobile major Maruti Suzuki unveiled its new compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) “XA Alpha” on Jan. 5, 2012 on the first day of the 11th Auto Expo in New Delhi.
The company did not reveal the price or the launch date of the XA Alpha. The new SUV has been jointly developed by Maruti Suzuki and parent Suzuki Corporation.
The 11th edition of the Auto Expo will conclude on Jan. 11. The event at the sprawling Pragati Maidan exposition grounds promises a slew of launches and first-time exhibits of vehicles in virtually every segment and hopes to draw some 500,000 footfalls.
