Bhasha Vasudha, a two-day global conference on languages will begin in Vadodara, Gujarat from January 7, 2012. Representatives of nearly 900 languages from across the world would participate in the event.
Delegates from 23 countries including Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, the UK and the USA will take part in the event. Over 600 scholars, linguists and writers from all parts of India would join the meet.
