A tribute concert has been organized by the Indian Social Club in the memory of famous Indian Ghazal singer Jagjit Singh, who passed away on October 2011. The concert will take place at Le Grand Hall, Al Falaj Hotel, Muscat, Oman on January 4, 2012.
Jaswinder Singh, a prominent classical and ghazal singer, will be singing Ghazals and popular Bollywood songs sung by the late maestro.
Jagjit Singh sang in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, Sindhi and Nepali languages, and was also awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2003 by Government of India.
