The Indian Institute of Management, Shillong will be the first premier management institute in India to launch a new global one-year Post Graduate International Business program with a China perspective from next April.
IIM(S) has entered into an agreement with the Ocean University of China to start the new global program with the vision to be the first management institute to focus on eastern countries, which have made considerable impact in the global economy, IIM(S) Director Prof Ashoke K Dutta said.
IIM-Shillong has decided to focus on eastern countries as part of the Centre's 'Look East Policy' and this program is a step in that direction, he said.
