Harris Jayaraj to Perform in Dubai on Feb. 3

Indian music composer Harris Jayaraj’s world tour concert, Harris on the Edge is scheduled to happen on February 3, 2012 in Dubai.

Harris started his tour from Chennai. The first concert was at Mayajaal stadium, ECR, Chennai on October 8, 2011. The show was praised for its superb conceptualization and execution. The show in Coimbatore which combined the audio launch of Nanban was also well received.

Harris has also planned to perform in Kuala Lumpur. The second phase of the tour includes many places in Europe, Canada, South Africa and North America. He will be visiting these places in 2012 summer.

Harris Jayaraj will be the second music director from Tamil cinema after AR Rahman to conduct a world tour-Live-in-Concert.

The world tour troupe includes Tamil playback singers including Karthik, Haricharan, Tippu, Harini, Harish Raghavendra, Krish, Aalap Raju, K.K., Benny Dayal, Suvi Suresh, Sunitha Sarathy, Srilekha Parthasarathy, Shwetha Menon and his orchestra are expected to accompany him.

Television rights for the tour have been bought by Jaya TV.
