French Component Auto Makers to Set up Vendor Park in Ahmedabad

Around 60 French auto component manufacturers explored possibilities of setting up a vendor park (VP) at Sanand in Ahmedabad, Gujarat with a view to cater to the demands of new auto entrants into Gujarat.

The proposed vendor park shall consist of tier-I and II auto-component manufacturers and suppliers to the recent auto entrants in the state besides others.

Ford, PSA Peugeot Citroen and Maruti have recently announced to set up plants in Gujarat, while Tata Motors has set up the mother plant of Nano at Sanand and General Motors has a manufacturing facility at Halol.
