Assamese Singer Papon to Perform in Delhi, Mumbai on Jan. 11, 12

After making his mark in Bollywood with Dum Maro Dum and Soundtrack, renowned Assamese singer Papon is all set to release his debut Hindi-Pop album ‘Papon — The story so far’ under Times Music.

The album will be launched on January 10, 2012 with Papon performance on Jan. 11 and Jan. 12 in Bluefrog Delhi and Mumbai respectively.

‘Papon — The story so far’ comprises of 11 Hindi songs, which also includes Assamese track and Goalporia folk song 'Boitha Maro re’ recreated by Papon.

Papon has performed at several musical shows like Dewarists, Coke Studio India, The South Asian Band’s Festival, The Paleo music fest in Switzerland, Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta and Oslo World Music Festival.
