4th India Art Fair in Delhi From Jan. 25–29

The fourth edition of the India Art Fair is set to begin at the National Small Industries Corporation NSIC Exhibition grounds in New Delhi from Jan. 25–29, 2012, which will bring an increased number of international galleries. More than 1000 artists are expected to attend the famous Indian annual festival of art.

Out of 84 galleries participating, 34 were international galleries — double the number that participated in the previous year bringing an international and domestic focus to the buoyant Indian art market.

The event previously known as the India Art Summit was hoisted at the Pragati Maidan last year. Launched in 2008, the 3rd Edition of India Art Fair recorded over a hundred thousand visitors in a span of four days from 17 cities in India and 67 cities around the world, and organizers say becoming one of the most attended art fairs globally.
