Increased prize money and bifurcation of categories will be the highlights of the 12th edition of Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) starting February 3, 2012.
As many as 101 Indian and international films, documentary, short-fiction and animation, would be screened under the competition section. Special packages and retrospectives are also part of the seven-day festival which will conclude on February 9.
A total of 791 entries had been received from 37 countries and the final list includes those from Australia, Germany, Spain, and Switzerland among others.
Seminar, workshops and Open Forum will be organized by the Indian Documentary Producers Association (IDPA) during the festival.
