Patna Schools Closed Till Dec. 25 Due to Cold Wave

All public and private schools in Patna have been ordered closed till Dec. 25, 2011 because of the intense cold wave sweeping Bihar.

Gaya recorded a minimum temperature of 5.2 degrees Celsius and Patna registered as low as 6.6 degrees Celsius on Friday, Dec. 16, 2011.

Dense fog has disrupted air and rail services with several flights delayed and long-distance trains running late. The weather has affected normal life in the state.
