The Coe Collection of American Indian Art kicks off at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Upper East Side, New York, United States on Dec. 7, 2011 from 11 am.
The exhibition comprises some 30 objects made in natural materials from stone to animal hide. It will feature a wide range of Native American works that come from different times, different places and distinct people.
