In the latest edition of the Lokpriya series, famous Indian Ghazal singer Talat Aziz pays tribute to his mentor, the legendary king of Ghazal, Mehdi Hasan. The event is scheduled at Tata Theatre, National Centre for Performing Arts, Nariman Point, Mumbai on December 4, 2011 from 6.30 pm onwards.
The presentation will feature classic compositions immortalized by Mehdi Hasan as well as Talat's own popular Ghazals from films including Umrao Jaan, Bazaar and others.
Tickets costs are Rs 500, Rs 320 and Rs 160/person.
