Kolkata: Tagore’s Play ‘Raktakarabi’ to be Screened on Dec. 4

Jahnavi Centre for Performing Arts, with support from the Ministry of Culture under the Tagore, Commemoration Grant Scheme, will present Rabindranath Tagore’s Raktakarabi (Red Oleanders) as a dance theatre.

The play will be held at GD Birla Sabhagar, 29 Ashutosh Chowdhury Avenue, Ballygunge, Kolkata on Dec. 4, 2011 at 6.30 pm.

Concept, choreography and direction of the dance play has been done by Madhuboni Chatterjee and music direction by Manoj Murali Nair.
