Mangalore University Holds Intl Chemistry Conference from Dec. 8–10

Mangalore University’s Chemistry department will conduct a three-day international seminar on ‘Synthetic and Structural Chemistry’ to commemorate the year of 2011 as “International Year of Chemistry” at Mangala auditorium, Mangalagangotri, Mangalore, Karnataka, India from December 8 to 10, 2011.

The conference is designed to provide a forum for researchers and scholars within India and abroad to have a wide ranging discussions and critical debate on recent experiments and theoretical ideas in the fields of ‘Synthetic and structural chemistry.’ The event includes lectures from an eminent chemists, oral presentations and poster sessions.

A total of 300 research papers will be presented orally and poster forms. More than 500 delegates from various parts of India and abroad will be participating in the conference.

The concluding session of the conference will be conducted at 230 pm on December 10.
