4th Bengaluru International Film Fest From Dec. 15–22

The fourth edition of Bengaluru International film Festival (BIFFES) will kick off from December 15–22, 2011. Organized jointly by Karnataka Government's Information department and Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy, the festival will showcase 179 films including 20 Kannada films, which will be screened across four venues in Bangalore.

Karnataka Chief Minister Mr DV Sadananda Gowda will inaugurate the function and veteran actors Anant Nag and Om Puri will be the Guests of Honor.

Apart from films screening, the festival will also have seminars and master-classes on issues like the development and use of sound in cinema, animation in cinema today and digital cinema.

The BIFFES will also pays tribute to veteran actor Dev Anand.
