French Film Festival in Singapore From Dec. 8–13

Singapore is going to host French Film Festival “1st Rendezvous with French Cinema” from Dec. 8–13, 2011 at Shaw Theatres Lido, Golden Village Vivocity, Alliance Française Theatre and Cathay Cineplex Cinemas.

First Rendezvous with French Cinema will showcase some of the country’s latest movies across the island. The festival will include a red carpet event on Dec. 7, featuring French actress Carole Bouquet of 1981 James Bond fame, and other directors and actresses, including Ludivine Sagnier, known for her role in the 2003 movie “Swimming Pool.”

Tickets go on sale from Nov. 28, 2011.
