Leaders of a local prayer group in Topeka will sponsor a 42-hour citywide nonstop prayer and worship event this weekend at a North Topeka church.
The Topeka House of Prayer will host the event, titled “Contending for the Glory 11-11-11.” The event will begin at 5 pm on Friday, Nov. 11, and conclude at noon Sunday, Nov. 13, at Faith Family Life Centre, 3710 N. W. Topeka Blvd.
Organizers said the event will focus on praying for Topeka, the state of Kansas and the United States.
