The seventh edition of the Great Indian October Fest popularly known as TGIOF will take place between November 11 and 13 at the Karnataka Trade Promotional Organization (KTPO), Whitefield, Bangalore.
This landmark event with an Indian touch has been inspired by the German Oktoberfest and has grown to become a ‘Must Experience’ for people, not just from India but from other parts of the world.
The Great Indian October Fest is a celebration of music, excitement, Beer and all things fun. Established in 2005, the event has grown in scale and popularity year after year. Fun lovers of all age groups flock the event to come together and party hard, in what is easily India’s biggest Music festival.
This edition will feature a wider gamut of performances from varying music genres apart from brand new activities introduced to suit multiple age groups and preferences.
There will be over 30 stalls giving the buyer choice from an array of art, clothes, jewelery, trinkets and artifacts from nine different states, representing the diverse cultural offerings of India. Also, food courts with over 20 kitchens with covered seating area to host over a 1000 people at a time will be available to cater to the food cravings of visitors.
The fest will also bring together some of the top painters and sculptors from across India. Seven painters, four cartoonists and five sculptors will be performing live on two themes: ‘October Fest’ and ‘9 to 5 life in Bangalore.’
