The sixth Pinjore Heritage Festival will be organized from December 2-4, 2011 at Yadvindra Gardens in Pinjore town of Haryana.
The festival is organized by the Haryana Tourism and is aimed at enhancing awareness about Pinjore's centuries-old heritage. It would be inaugurated by Union Tourism Minister Subodh Kant Sahay.
During the festival, visitors can witness a Crafts Bazaar, reminiscent of Mughal times, which is being set-up with shops and clusters of stalls, tented pavilion, food plaza, performance stage and other attractions. It will also have a variety of cuisine containing a wide-range of vegetarian and delectable dishes.
The Yadvindra Gardens was built in 17th century by emperor Aurangzeb's architect and foster brother Fidai Khan, who was the governor of Punjab.
