The India Art Festival, Mumbai’s first big-ticket international art festival will be held from November 17 to 20 between 11 am and 7 pm at Nehru Centre Art Gallery, Dr. Annie Beasant Road, Worli in Mumbai.
The India Art Festival will showcase works from 40 art galleries across India, and will showcase 400 artists. The art work will be displayed in two floors, one dedicated to the masters and others to artist who do not come from the curator’s circuit.
The galleries participating in the Festival include Chemould Prescott Road from Mumbai; Akar Prakar from Kolkata; Archer Art Gallery and Nexus Arts from Ahmedabad; Galerie Sara Arakkal and Time and Space from Bangalore, Gallery Espace from Delhi; and The Gallery Gnani Arts from Singapore. Also planned are poetry recitations, film screenings, street performances and art walks.
