Milan is all set to kick start its annual Christmas Parade on Dec. 3, 2011 at 6 pm. The parade line-up will be at Christmas Lane, which is the old railroad alley, Second Street, and Ash Street to Michigan Avenue.
The participants will meet at Paddock Elementary School in the bus loop and many volunteers will be on hand to assist.
The route for viewing will be West Main Street at the railroad tracks through downtown Milan. The parade will end at the Old Fire Barn at 153 E. Main St.
The deadline for entries is Dec. 1.
The public is encouraged to attend and reservations are currently being accepted. Tickets are $12 for chamber members and $15 for non-members. Reservations may be made by calling 439-7932 or sending an email to info@milanchamber.org.
