Hornbill Music Festival in Kohima From Dec. 1-7

One of the major musical extravaganzas of India “Hornbill Music Festival” will kick-start at Kohima from December 1. The festival is organized by the State Tourism and Art & Culture Departments – Nagaland.

Hornbill Music Festival is organized from Dec. 1 to Dec. 7 of every year at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama which is about 12 km from the capital of the state, Kohima.

The winner band will get prize money of Rs 5 lakh, 2nd and 3rd prize at Rs 2 lakh and 1 lakh respectively. There are also individual prizes for the best lead guitar, best bass guitar, best drummer, best vocals and other special categories.
