French Embassy to Host Dance Festival in Bangalore From Nov. 8–12

Embassy of France in India is hosting an Indo-French Contemporary Dance festival called 'Danse Dialogue' from November 8 to 12, 2011.

Indian dance troupes such as Attakalari, Nritarutya and Natya Stem Dance Kampni, along with French troupes—Jerome Bel Company, Zahrbat Company and Beau Geste Company will be putting up shows during the five day event.

The festival has five performances by six dance troupes. The inaugural day will see a performance called Pichet Klunchun and Myself by Jerome Bel. Vajra, Mars and Chittara and MeiDhwani are the Indian performances on the November 9, 10 and 11 respectively. 'Transports Exceptionnels by D Boivin' by the Beau Geste Company will be the last performance of the festival.

The first four performances will take place at the JSS Auditorium, whereas the final performance by the Beau Geste Company will happen in the Brigade Gateway premises.

Free invites can be collected at the Alliance Francaise Bangalore, Nritarutya, Attakalari and Natya Stem offices. Entry is by invitation only.
