To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Italian Unification, the Embassy of Italy is staging an unusual opera in which young Indian and Italian musicians will jointly perform at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi on Nov. 15, 2011.
The title of the opera event is Cavalleria Rusticana. A majority of the Indian musicians has been handpicked from across 13 Indian states like Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Bangalore and Chennai, will perform live in Delhi.
