Delhi: 15 South Asian Bands to Rock Purana Qila From Dec. 2–4; Entry Free

Contemporary South Asian bands will rock Purana Qila, a 16th century fort in the heart of Indian capital, for three days beginning Friday, Dec. 2 during the South Asian Bands Festival.

Fifteen bands from Nine South Asian countries will perform at the event. India will be represented by the Bollywood duo Salim-Sulaiman, Indigo Children (New Delhi), Petri Dish Project (Mumbai), Boomarang (Mizoram), Advaita (New Delhi) and Motherjane (Cochin).

Another highlight will be the popular girl-band Zeb and Hanya from the conflict-torn Peshawar in Pakistan.

The other bands include Bohemian (Bangladesh), Metal Zone Oasis Band (Myanmar), Kingdom Hum (Bhutan), The Maldivian (Maldives), Thriloka (Sri Lanka), Fanoos (Afghanistan) and Robin and The New Revolution (Nepal), all of whom are making their debut at the South Asian Bands festival.

Entry for the festival is free for public.
