Toronto Fashion Week, with its official name LG Fashion Week Beauty by L’Oréal Paris, started on Oct. 17, 2011 and will last till Friday October 21. The event is being held in downtown Toronto – David Pecaut Square, 221 King Street West, King & Simcoe, next to Roy Thomson Hall.
More than 40 designers and labels are slated to be featured during the five-day fashion fest, which will mark its 25th season showcasing spring-summer 2012 collections, under the slogan “Canada Cool.”
Among the designers showing their new collections during this fashion week are Holt Renfrew, Arthur Mendonça, Amanda Lew Kee, Lida Baday, Denis Gagnon, Joeffer Caoc, Lovas, Attitude Jay Manuel, Klaxon Howl, Pink Tartan, Joe Fresh, Sarah Stevenson, Golnaz Ashtiani, Cynthia Rowley, Vawk, David Dixon, and many others.
