New Jersey to Hold Calligraphy Workshop for Artists on Nov. 5

Art enthusiasts of all ages will have the opportunity to study calligraphy with Philadelphia Calligraphers Society President and fine artist Maureen Peters on Nov. 5 from 8.30 am to 3 pm at the Gloucester County College Instructional Center, room 437, New Jersey, USA.

The workshop is sponsored by the Art Educators of New Jersey South. New Jersey teacher and professional development certificates are available for attendees.

The workshop focuses on script fundamentals, from the development of the decorated letter of medieval manuscripts to contemporary letter designs.

The workshop is open to the public and costs $35 for Art Educators of New Jersey (AENJ) members and $40 for non-members. A light breakfast will be served at 8.30 am with lunch provided around noon.
