EFT Bureau, Guwahati: The Government of Assam is organizing a one day technical visit on Jan. 21, 2013 to the Pobitora Wild Life Sanctuary near Guwahati for all the hosted International Delegates participating in International Tourism Mart, Guwahati 2013.
Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife reserve located about 48 km by road from Guwahati. It is a 1-hour drive through a road passing by the River Brahmaputa, and a small portion of the village of Mayong. It has a dense population of the Great Indian one-horned rhinoceros.
