Report by Santau Ganguly, Mumbai: Kalakaar awards, one of the most prestigious awards that were recently bestowed on the talented kalakaars of the nation, had the name of Balma girl too nominated amongst the many fresh foreign faces Bollywood got this season. Claudia Ciesla won the award hands down as she not only rocked with her first item song but made the nation dance along as well.
The award function was held in Kolkata and saw Claudia receiving the award as “Best Debut Foreign Face in Item Number Award.” Recently been back from Spain after a photo shoot with Spanish football player Andres Iniesta, Claudia was present for the award function. On having received this honorary award, overwhelmed Claudia said, “This was my first item number and immediately after its release it not only went viral but also gained immense popularity in very short span of time. That felt like an award itself but now when I hold this award in my hand, well, it’s truly a great feeling. I am happy my efforts are been appreciated.”
Dressed in cherry red one piece Claudia added dazzles to the podium as she was felicitated. On asking about her future ventures she said, “There are surprises in my bag for my fans. Will unveil them one at a time.”
Are Claudia’s surprises to be taken as a warning for the Bollywood starlets ‘cause this chick from Germany sure has talents to be uppity when it comes to acting and dancing!
