EPL: Man Utd’s Wayne Rooney Out for 3 Weeks

Manchester United star striker Wayne Rooney has been ruled out for 3 weeks after sustaining knee ligament damage in training. The 27-year-old England international missed the Red Devils' last minute 4-3 Boxing Day victory over Newcastle United.

Rooney will miss United’s Premier League matches against West Brom and Wigan and the FA Cup third round tie against West Ham on January 5. He is likely to be fit to face Liverpool FC on January 13.
