Mumbai to Host World Series Hockey Final on April 2

Mumbai is geared up to host the grand finale of the Bridgestone World Series Hockey on April 2, 2012. The two semifinals of the Hockey championship will take place in Bangalore and Mumbai on April 1.

The semifinals will commence at 7 pm in Bangalore and 9 pm in Mumbai, while the final is scheduled for a 9 pm.

The two venues were selected on the basis of feedback from the players and also the crowd response. The Mahindra Stadium in Mumbai was revamped recently while the KSHA Stadium in Bangalore is one of the busiest hockey venues in the country with tournaments being played round the year.
